Across Maya Kaqchikel communities, wellbeing is understood as Ütz K’aslemal—living well together with dignity, balance, and collective care. Indigenous women are central to this vision through caregiving, nutritious meals, entrepreneurship, cultural knowledge, and local leadership, they sustain the foundations of community wellbeing. At Natün, we partner with Indigenous communities in Lake Atitlán to strengthen the conditions for una vida digna (a dignified life)—rooted in culture, leadership, and collective wellbeing.
